to talk about substance abuse and the negative consequences that are happening
on a daily basis in our community, work place, and in our families. Yet, we have
all been effected by the misuse of alcohol, illicit or prescribed drugs.

Laakko is a Certified Addictions Counselor and Certified Prevention
Specialist. He has been facilitating education classes and presenting to diverse
groups and organizations for 19 years. His professional experience combined
with a down-to-earth presentation style captures his audience's attention in
a way that helps people relate to the challenges of substance abuse. Honest dialogue
and straightforward communication, without all the confusing jargon, is
the hallmark of his presentations.
